Today was great. We started off by going to Church. Then it was off to Farmer Charley's with the in-laws. When my husband walked away 6 months ago, he left his entire life behind (or at least is seems so). He hasn't spoke to any of his family, his older kids from his first marriage, or me and our kids. But that hasn't stopped his family from keeping in touch. So today we all met and had a great time at the corn maze.
Of course I found $1 off coupons for the maze when you bring in a canned good. We then spent about two hours trying to find our way through the maze! Next it was on to the hayride. Nothing scary, just able to enjoy the scenery with the kids. Afterwhich we watched the pig race, played on the lumber logs, and to end the day we all tried knocking down the 50 gallon drums by shooting pumpkins from a cannon! How crazy is that? It was absolutely awesome! I cannot get over how much fun we had!
We were also able to save money!
